The inspiration for our name comes from a Zulu word meaning “I am because we are.” We chose this because we want to live as a community, appreciating the gifts that each brings and developing a group identity. Other important aspects of our group include a focus on simple living and green initiatives and a commitment to working on conflict resolution in our daily lives.
